I can’t bring myself to care. They’re so far out of my league that I’ll never be able to afford one, so can’t really care about someone wrecking one.

Powered by a quad turbo 8.0-litre W16 engine (two V8s mounted back-to-back) the Bugatti Chiron accelerates as quickly as a Formula One race car.
Wait, they’re mounted side to side, not back to back. Two V8s back to back would be a V16, not a W16. GET YO FAX STRAIGHT!

Same, even if I could I’d spend that money on something pretty.

It’s a V16 with a VR configuration within the banks.

I was thinking of the V eyron, just as the author probably was. That is some impressive engineering.

The Veyron has the same configuration. That’ s what a W engine looks like.
That is the veyrons block and head. The head is much more impressive than the block to me.
Bentleys w12 is the same deal.
Not sure why VW is the only manufacturer that does W engines

Seems likely it was the Porsche’s fault. Hard to blame the Chiron owner for planting his foot for an easy overtake, it’s the car’s best party trick.
Hard to blame the Porsche driver for not seeing it coming. But still, at fault.
